rebecca was always talented, the people who made that song and the video were incompetent and have a track record for taking kids and making really fucking bad music videos with those kids for way too much money. rebecca black’s family was scammed trying to get her a music career and she had to pay the price by suffering years of bullying and online abuse when all she wanted to do was sing and have fun. i feel bad for being a part of it back in the day when i was young, mean, and clueless. she was just a kid who got fucked over. i’m happy she’s doing well now and i support her.
